I heard about this site through Richard Byrne's blog post on Free Technology for Teachers. This site was too good not to share. With the onset of the Common Core, ReadWorks.org provides a great resource for teachers looking to help improve their students' comprehension skills. Skill and Strategy units are categorized and listed on the left of the page. Clicking on one of the Skill/Strategy unit expands to show grade level lesson plans. Once you open up a lesson, you have a tab at the top that allows you to see the standards that are aligned with the lesson. I know how precious a teacher's time can be. This site serves as a great time saver for lesson creation, prep and alignment with the Common Core.
