Skype in the classroom
Looking to break down your classroom walls and make connections across the world? Skype serves as a great tool to connect with authors, classes, community leaders and so much more. One additional resource that has made Skype the go to tool for video chats is Skype in the Classroom.
The Skype in the Classroom website allows you to post a project you would like to collaborate on via Skype. In addition, you can search for projects that fit your needs and curriculum. Prior to this resource, it was very challenging to find global connections. Skype in the Classroom simplifies this process and allows teachers' creativity to lead innovation in the classroom.

Skype R' US
Skype R' US is the site that we had been using to catalog our learning about the states across the US. We had been working to chat with a school from each of the 50 states. Our goal was to compare and contrast the schools, communities and states. We documented our learning throughout this process. My current class is always open to connecting and sharing about our school, community and state.
